Sleep Nurse UK is proud to support TOGS, a local grassroots project helping families across the Midlands who are experiencing hardship.
Why this matters to me
Every child deserves a safe place to sleep.
During my time as a health visitor, I supported families facing some incredibly difficult circumstances. I sat with parents fleeing domestic violence, families seeking refuge in a new country, and families who were trying their very best but simply could not make ends meet.
For some, the biggest worry was not how to improve their baby’s sleep. It was finding a safe place for their child to sleep in the first place.
I worked alongside other services to help families access funding and the equipment they needed. Those families have stayed with me. Although my work now looks a little different, I have not forgotten those experiences.
How Sleep Nurse UK is helping
A contribution with every completed consultation
For every completed one-to-one sleep consultancy, Sleep Nurse UK donates £15 to TOGS specifically for safe-sleep equipment.
This contribution is restricted to helping provide safe-sleep equipment for local families who need it.
It means that when a family chooses to work with me, their support extends beyond their own household and helps contribute to something meaningful for another family too.
For me, this partnership is about recognising that families face very different circumstances, and finding ways to make a positive difference where we can.
I am incredibly grateful to Anthea and the team at TOGS for the work they do, and proud that Sleep Nurse UK can play a small part in supporting it.
Sleep Nurse UK is a business supporting an independent local community project. The £15 contribution is made by Sleep Nurse UK for every completed one-to-one sleep consultancy and is for safe-sleep equipment only.
