Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking, purchasing or taking part in any service, consultation, programme, workshop, digital product or support package provided by Sleep Nurse UK.
By booking, purchasing or taking part in any service provided by Sleep Nurse UK, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Please also read our Refunds, Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy before booking or purchasing.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following words have the following meanings:
“Coach”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Smart Confidence Limited trading as Sleep Nurse UK.
“Customer”, “you” or “your” means the person booking, purchasing or receiving services, digital products or support from Sleep Nurse UK.
“Confidential Information” means personal information, family information, child-related information, sleep details, health-related information you choose to share, and any other information disclosed by you in connection with the Services.
“Fees” means the fees payable for the Services, digital products, consultations, programmes, workshops or support packages you purchase.
“Services” means sleep consultancy, sleep coaching, consultations, workshops, digital products, guides, resources, support packages and any related services provided by Sleep Nurse UK.
“Term” means the period during which the Services are provided, as confirmed by email, booking confirmation, order confirmation or other written communication.
2. Appointment of Sleep Nurse UK
You appoint Sleep Nurse UK to provide the Services you have booked or purchased.
Your entitlement to take part in any consultation, coaching session, programme, workshop or support package will only begin once we have received full payment, unless we have agreed alternative payment arrangements with you in writing.
The Services provided will be based on the information you give us. It is your responsibility to make sure the information you provide is accurate, complete and up to date.
3. Service delivery
Sleep Nurse UK provides remote sleep support services for families, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Services may be delivered by video call, telephone, email, WhatsApp, digital resources or another agreed remote method.
The start date, length and scope of the Services will be set out in your booking confirmation, order confirmation, email confirmation or written communication with us.
If you are late for a consultation or session, the session will still end at the scheduled time unless we agree otherwise.
4. Fees and payment
You agree to pay the Fees shown before booking or purchasing.
Payment must be made in full before the Services begin, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
If you fail to make a payment when due, we may pause, cancel or withhold the Services until payment is received.
Fees are non-refundable once the Services have started, except where required by law, where we are unable to provide the Services, where there has been a duplicate payment or clear payment error, or where we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Our obligations
We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill.
We will use our knowledge and experience to provide practical, supportive and appropriate sleep guidance based on the information you provide.
We may make reasonable changes to the format, content or delivery of the Services where needed, provided this does not materially reduce the overall service you have purchased.
We do not guarantee any specific sleep outcome, improvement or result.
6. Your obligations
You agree to:
- provide accurate and complete information
- tell us about any relevant medical, developmental, feeding, health, safeguarding or family circumstances
- seek medical advice where appropriate
- use the Services responsibly
- follow safe sleep guidance
- attend booked sessions on time
- communicate respectfully
- use any materials provided for personal use only
You are responsible for deciding whether to follow any guidance provided.
You are also responsible for how any sleep plan, advice, routine or recommendation is implemented in your home.
7. Medical disclaimer
Sleep Nurse UK provides sleep consultancy, sleep coaching and practical sleep support.
We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Our advice is intended for common sleep-related issues and general family sleep support. It is not a substitute for advice from a GP, health visitor, midwife, paediatrician or other qualified healthcare professional.
You should always seek medical advice if you have concerns about your child’s health, feeding, breathing, allergies, medication, reflux, weight gain, development, mental health, safety or wellbeing.
You should seek medical advice before following any sleep plan or recommendation if your child has a medical condition, developmental concern or any other health-related issue.
Reliance on any information provided by Sleep Nurse UK is at your own risk.
8. No guaranteed outcomes
We will do our best to support you and provide guidance that is appropriate to the information you share with us.
However, sleep outcomes are not guaranteed.
A child’s sleep can be affected by many factors, including age, development, temperament, health, feeding, routine, family circumstances, consistency, environment and how advice is implemented.
Not achieving a particular sleep outcome does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
The likelihood of success is increased when recommendations are followed consistently by all relevant caregivers, including parents, grandparents, nannies or anyone else involved in your child’s sleep routine.
9. Confidentiality and data protection
We will treat your Confidential Information with care and confidentiality.
We will not disclose your Confidential Information to another person or organisation unless:
- you have given us permission
- it is necessary to provide the Services
- we are required to do so by law
- we believe someone may be at risk of harm
- disclosure is needed to protect our legal rights
Any personal data we collect from you will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.

10. Intellectual property
All sleep plans, guides, templates, handouts, videos, e-books, downloads, workshop materials, written recommendations and other materials provided by Sleep Nurse UK remain the intellectual property of Sleep Nurse UK or the relevant rights owner.
You may use these materials for your own personal and family use only.
You must not copy, reproduce, share, publish, distribute, sell, adapt or use the materials for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
If a recording of a session is provided, it is for personal use only and must not be shared, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without written permission from Sleep Nurse UK.
11. Digital products and downloads
Digital products may include e-books, videos, guides, templates, downloads, online resources or other digital materials.
Digital products are non-refundable once access has been provided or the product has been downloaded, unless the product is faulty, has not been supplied, or you have a legal right to a refund.
Where digital content is supplied during any applicable 14-day cancellation period, you agree that access may begin immediately and acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost once the digital content has been supplied.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
12. Cancellations, refunds and rescheduling
Please read our Refunds, Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy before booking or purchasing.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation or booked session, you must give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Where at least 24 hours’ notice is given, we will do our best to offer an alternative appointment time, subject to availability.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or if you do not attend a booked session, the session may be treated as used and no refund will be provided.
If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, we will offer you an alternative time where possible.
13. Consumer cancellation rights
If you enter into this agreement online, by phone or remotely, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being entered into.
If you ask us to begin providing the Services during this 14-day period, you agree that we may charge for any work already carried out before you cancel.
Work may include, but is not limited to:
- reviewing your intake form or sleep questionnaire
- reviewing information you provide about your child or family
- preparing for your consultation
- creating or adapting a sleep plan
- providing a consultation
- sending personalised recommendations
- giving access to support, messaging or follow-up guidance
- supplying digital materials, resources or downloads
If the Services have been fully provided, or personalised materials or digital content have already been supplied with your agreement, no refund will usually be due unless required by law.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
14. One to one sleep support
One to one sleep support may include consultation, assessment, personalised recommendations, sleep planning, follow-up support, email support, WhatsApp support or other support as described at the point of booking.
The exact scope of support will depend on the package purchased.
One to one sleep support is personalised and may involve preparation before your consultation takes place.
Once personalised work has started, the package is non-refundable unless required by law, we are unable to provide the service, there has been a duplicate payment or clear payment error, or we agree otherwise in writing.
Support must be used within the timeframe stated at the point of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
15. Newborn Sleep Foundations service
The Newborn Sleep Foundations service is an educational consultation or digital product for expectant parents and families with young infants. The current format, duration, eligibility and inclusions will be those shown on the product or booking page at the time of purchase.
It provides general information and support around normal newborn sleep, sleep shaping, safe sleep guidance and responsive settling.
The session is for informational and supportive purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Payment must be received before the appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable, although one reschedule may be offered at our discretion.
If Sleep Nurse UK needs to reschedule the appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative appointment will be offered as soon as possible.
If a recording is provided, it is for personal use only and must not be shared, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without written permission.
16. Workshops and group sessions
Workshops and group sessions take place at the time, location or online link advertised or confirmed in your booking details.
If you cancel a workshop or group session booking:
- 30 days or more before the session: 75% refund
- 15 to 30 days before the session: 25% refund
- 14 days or less before the session: no refund
If you do not attend the workshop or group session, the fee is forfeited and no refund will be provided.
If you are unable to attend due to illness and you tell us in writing at least 24 hours before the workshop or group session starts, we may offer a rebooking subject to availability. A 25% rebooking fee may apply.
If Sleep Nurse UK cancels or postpones a workshop or group session, you will be offered an alternative date, credit note or refund.
We may make reasonable changes to workshop content, location, format, timing or attendee numbers where needed.
17. Failure to attend
If you fail to attend a booked consultation or session without giving at least 24 hours’ notice, the session may be treated as used and no refund will be provided.
If you repeatedly fail to attend booked sessions during a support period, we may end the support arrangement and any remaining fees may be forfeited.
18. Termination
We may end the Services immediately by giving written notice if:
- you fail to pay
- you repeatedly fail to attend booked sessions
- you behave abusively or inappropriately
- you misuse the Services or materials
- you fail to follow these Terms and Conditions
- we reasonably believe continuing the Services would be inappropriate, unsafe or unsuitable
If we end the Services because of your breach of these Terms and Conditions, no refund will usually be provided.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
19. Liability
We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, our total liability to you shall be limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Service.
We are not responsible for indirect losses, including loss of income, loss of business, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, or other indirect or consequential losses.
We are not responsible for outcomes affected by circumstances outside our control, including health issues, developmental changes, inconsistent implementation, family circumstances or changes to routine.
20. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for any failure or delay in providing the Services where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.
This may include illness, accidents, emergencies, severe weather, transport disruption, technology failure, internet outages, power outages, fire, flood, pandemic, government restrictions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If an event outside our control affects our ability to provide the Services, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and try to arrange an alternative where appropriate.

If you have any special requirements that may affect your participation in a consultation, workshop, group session or support package, please contact us as soon as possible.

23. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.
The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions, including any dispute relating to non-contractual obligations.
